Bryson City, NC Dentist Staff Bruce C. Riddle, DDSDr. Bruce Riddle is a 1997 graduate of the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, NC. He completed his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from UNC-Asheville. He is a member of the WNC Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society, American Orthodontic Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Riddle has taken extensive continuing education classes in general dentistry and orthodontics.

Dr. Riddle was the one of the first in his dental class to complete his clinical requirements, which afforded him the opportunity to participate in extra clinical rotations. These include two at the Asheville VA Medical Center Dental clinic, one pediatric rotation at Greensboro Health Department and two pediatric rotations in Cherokee. Since taking over the Bryson City dental practice in 1997 from retiring dentist, Dr. Bob Eldridge, Dr. Riddle has provided dental care for many local needy children and senior adults and participates yearly in the "Give Kids A Smile" program sponsored by the North Carolina Dental Society and the ADA.

Dr. Riddle and his wife Diana have been married for twenty-eight years and they have four young children: Joshua, Kaitlyn, Daniel and Gracie. They enjoy many outdoor activities together including tubing at Deep Creek, biking and hiking. Dr. Riddle also enjoys fly-fishing our beautiful mountain streams and bird hunting with his German Shorthair Pointer.

Diana Riddle- Office Manager
Diana has worked in the field of dentistry for 26 years. She is experienced in the many aspects of managing and maintaining an efficient and professional dental practice, as well as assisting with financial and insurance queries in the front office. She enjoys spending time with her family and keeping up with her four young children.

 

 

 

Angie Shuler - Dental Assistant
Angie has worked in the field of dentistry for over five years. Her friendly and warm personality makes for a pleasant dental experience for each and every patient. She is a Bryson City native and is married with two grown sons and is expecting her fist grandbaby. She enjoys spending time with her family and her many dogs.

 

 

 

 

 

Lynette Phillips - Dental Hygienist
Lynette has been a hygienist for over thirteen years. She earned her hygiene degree from Asheville-Buncombe Community College. She has been with Dr. Riddle since 2000. She is very thoughtful and responsive to her patient's needs for gentle care. She is married and has three young children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

 

 

 

 

Chelsea Jenkins - Dental Hygienist
Chelsea has worked for Dr. Riddle on and off since high school. She went to dental assisting school in 2001, then immediately into the dental hygiene program at Asheville-Buncombe Community College. Chelsea can make even the most apprehensive patient comfortable with her warm personality and great sense of humor. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters; and is expecting a third child in April 2013.

 

 

 

 

Selissa Taylor - Practice Administrator
Selissa has been with the practice for almost six years. She is no stranger to public relations and is very helpful and resourceful in scheduling and accommodating patient's appointment time needs and answering any questions that may arise from insurance communications. She is also the co-owner of Coldwell-Banker Appalachian Realty in Bryson City. She enjoys spending time with her family and her little girl.

 

 

 

 

Susan Cutshaw - Dental Assistant
Susan has been a dental assistant for over 23 years. Her experience in the field of dentistry along with her caring sensitivity to people's needs makes her a tremendous asset to the office. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Much of Susan's time is occupied with church activities and her son's sporting events.
